You would need to have someone attach a sheet of MDF to the wall to ensure there is a flat surface to adhere the board to. We are not builders and would not want to try an attach anything to the wall as it is rather rough as you said.

You could use Hire a Hubby for a small job like this.

From there the frameless board could be applied. In Auckland we could supply the frameless board cheaper as it normally includes installation. Then the builder could do both jobs at the same time.

Notes on pricing for frameless whiteboards

Frameless boards are priced on a per lineal metre. The sheets are 1.2m wide so a 2.4m long board is 2.4 lineal metres. The frameless installed price is charged at a minimum of 2.4 lineal metres. E.g if you want a 1.2 x1.8 frameless board installed it will cost the same as a 2.4m long board. If you have 2 x 1200 x 1200 then that would meet the minimum.
